MEP Jüri Ratas

Jüri Ratas was elected a Member of the European Parliament in 2024. He is a full member of ITRE committee, a substitute member of BUDG and HOUS committees and in a delegation for relations with the United States. Before that, he was the Prime Minister of Estonia, followed by serving as a President of Riigikogu, as well as Second Vice-President of Riigikogu and a Mayor of Tallinn.

Ratas is a graduate of Tallinn University of Technology in the field of economy. He also holds a law degree from University of Tartu, where he is currently obtaining doctoral degree.

Born and living in Tallinn, Ratas is married with four children
