Rossen Papazov

Rossen Papazov is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of extensive experience within the Holcim Group, leading various business units across the cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete industries. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Holcim Bulgaria, where he has driven significant growth and innovation, particularly in decarbonization strategies and market expansion. Papazov has held CEO positions with Lafarge South Africa and Holcim Azerbaijan and senior management positions with Holcim Belgium and Holcim Romania. Prior to joining Holcim, he worked as a financial expert at the World Bank in Eastern Europe. He holds an MBA from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.  Papazov is also a Board member of the Bulgarian Cement Industry Association.
