Luke leads E3G's work on EU energy policy in Brussels, which is focused on expediting the transition to a society and economy structured around clean and efficiency energy systems, and which manages the inevitable decline of fossil fuels to reach a safe climate for all.
Luke has previously worked in Canada and Ireland and has extensive experience as both a researcher and policy advisor in the energy sector. Prior to joining E3G, Luke was Programme Manager for Energy and Climate Policy at Friends of Europe, in Brussels.
Luke sits on the steering committee of the Coalition for Energy Savings, and is a committee member of the Irish Centre for European Law, where he serves as an expert on EU energy law and policy. Luke holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a BA in Political Science and Geography from Trinity College Dublin.
