Kateryna Dolzhenko

Kateryna started her carrier in the energy sector in 2017 as a legal counsel in the national gas company JSC 'Naftogaz of Ukraine'. In this role she contributed to the implementation of the EU gas market rules in Ukraine. After two years in Naftogaz Kateryna joined ENTSOG in the role of a market adviser. As a part of the market development team, she worked on the certification of renewable gases, in particular development of the Guarantees of Origin system and its connection with other certification instruments. Kateryna joined Shell in May 2023 as a Regulatory Affairs Manager and is working on the EU policy for biomethane, with the focus on the Union Database development and biomethane certification.
