Michał Tarka

Michał Tarka is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Warsaw School of Economics [SGH].

He is the Founder, Director General and Member of the Management Board of the Polish Biomethane Organization.

He is an experienced legal professional with over 15 years of experience in leading law firms and as a public affairs advisor to numerous strategic projects in the energy and fuel sectors. With extensive hands-on experience in the energy industry, he has been active in the renewable energy sector since 2009, successfully developing energy projects from initial concept through to commercialization.

Since 2025, he has been leading the development of the Polish operations of the Portuguese CapWatt Group.

He is recognized in the Rzeczpospolita Ranking of Law Firms in the Energy and Natural Resources category as one of Poland's leading experts in energy law.
