Adolfo Aiello

Adolfo Aiello was appointed Deputy Director General at EUROFER in January 2022 and is in charge of climate and energy since 2015. He leads the advocacy and technical work on several dossiers, including Emissions Trading System, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, renewables and energy efficiency. Adolfo has 15 years’ experience on these topics in Brussels-based trade associations. He holds a M.A. in European Studies at the College of Europe with a thesis in EU trade policy.
