Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hours: Full time
Contract terms: Fixed term, up to 6 months, starting in September 2025. Remunerated, holidays (number of days depending
on the internship duration), meal vouchers, transport allowance.
About Eurogas:
Eurogas is an association of over one hundred organisations across Europe, spanning the entire length of the gases value
chain. Its members cover wholesale and retail gas markets, the distribution of natural, renewable and low carbon gases and
their derivatives and the use of gases in transport, heating and other end-use sector.
Eurogas is committed to accelerate the transition to climate neutrality through dialogue and advocacy on optimising the use
of gases. Together with its members it produces research, responds to consultations, provides input to studies, analyses the
impact of EU political and legislative initiatives, and communicates key findings to EU stakeholders. An established structure
of expertise ensures that Eurogas’ views are defined and endorsed by experts in the energy field.
We advocate for an approach ensuring an environmentally sustainable and socially acceptable energy transition
guaranteeing Security of Supply. With appropriate incentives in place, EU gas demand can be fully decarbonised already
before 2050.
Eurogas is looking for an intern to reinforce its policy activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor, track & analyse EU policies
- Support the discussions and secretariat of our internal members’ working groups
- Support the drafting of position papers/recommendations/briefings
- Participate to external stakeholders' meetings (institutions, trade associations, think tanks)
What we are looking for:
- Ideally, experience in energy
- Attention to detail, self-starter, good team player
- Ready to assist in a wide range of tasks, proactively leading on specific projects
- Understanding of EU policymaking
- Excellent command of English
- Brussels based; eligible to work in the EU
- For the internship position, the candidate must have concluded their studies.
