National Associations Platform

This Eurogas platform aims to bring together representatives of the European national associations - members and non-members of Eurogas - for an open exchange with the European Commission on the latest developments in their respective markets and challenges at the Member State level.

We will cover the EU Grids Package and its impact on gas and hydrogen networks, the role of biomethane in the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) IV in the post-2030 framework and its certification framework, the main barriers and regulatory solutions for scaling up hydrogen (and derivatives).

We are pleased to welcome from the European Commission: Kitti Nyitrai, Head of Unit Decarbonisation and Sustainability of Energy Sources, EU Energy C.2  and Irina Mihaela Reis, Team Leader, Infrastructure and Regional Cooperation, EU Energy C.4.

This meeting will be held in Brussels and online, under the Chatham House Rule.
