EU Methane Regulation: an actionable regulatory framework that preserves energy security, affordability and emission reductions

17 associations representing the oil and gas sectors, including Eurogas, have prepared a joint letter calling for an actionable regulatory framework that preserves energy security, affordability and emissions reductions.

The industry supports the intent of the EU Methane Regulation (EUMR) and wants it to work in practice for all those involved in its implementation. We therefore welcome the recognition that the EUMR’s importer requirements cannot be met within the current timetable.
