Daniel Apostol

Daniel Apostol is the General Director of the Energy Employers’ Federation (FPE) and an expert in strategic communication, public affairs, and business journalism, with experience gained at the intersection of the media, the institutional sector, and the energy industry. For over two decades, he has been involved in projects and initiatives dedicated to fostering dialogue between industry, government, and society, helping to promote key issues such as energy security, sustainable development, and Romania’s economic competitiveness. 

His professional career combines editorial experience, expertise in communications, and an understanding of economic and institutional mechanisms. He has held positions such as Editorial Director of Economistul magazine and Jurnalul publication, Director of Communications at ASF Romania, and Secretary General and spokesperson for ROPEPCA. In the energy sector, he has distinguished himself through his ability to build bridges of dialogue and to support, through communication and expertise, the interests of an industry that is strategic for Romania. 

He is a graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, where he earned an MBA in Business Administration, and also holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
