Matthias Schmittmann

Matthias Schmittmann is the co-founder and CEO of atmio, a company empowering natural gas operators to meet new EU methane regulations through comprehensive, partner-driven solutions. 

A chemical engineer by training, Matthias has deep expertise in the gas measurement industry, having previously co-founded and sold a company to the German corporation Dräger. At atmio, he leads sales and serves as the primary customer contact, bringing a unique blend of technical knowledge, regulatory insight, and customer focus.
