Claudio Ciuchini
Claudio Ciuchini is the Business Director Energy and Climate for EMEAI.
In this role he is responsible for developing and implementing competitive and reliable energy and climate change strategies for Dow’s manufacturing sites across EMEAI. He leads Dow’s risk management activities for energy and carbon cost exposure in the region and provides business guidance for the company’s advocacy efforts on energy policy, sustainability and climate change in the EMEAI region.
Claudio Ciuchini is working for Dow for 18 years in various roles and functions. He joined Dow in April 2007 as process engineer in the Engineering Solutions department and worked in different Manufacturing & Engineering roles in Dow. Since October 2016 he moved into the Energy commercial director role, responsible for Germany, where he was developing and implementing Energy supply strategies for Dow Operations across Germany. In early 2025, he moved in his current role and relocated to the European headquarter in Horgen, Switzerland, early 2025.
Claudio Ciuchini represents Dow as member in different associations as Cefic, Euro Chlor and the German Chemical Industry Association VCI.
Claudio Ciuchini holds a Diploma (FH) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Science in Hamburg, Germany.
