Dr Anouk Honoré is a Senior Research Fellow & Deputy Director of the Gas Research Programme at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. At the OIES, her research focuses on gas market fundamentals in Europe with a particular emphasis on gas demand, energy and decarbonization policies in the European Union and in individual countries, power generation and the decarbonization of the heating sector. Before joining the OIES in 2004, Anouk worked at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris, where her work focused mainly on energy polices and natural gas markets in the member countries, in China and in Latin America.

Taking care for natural gas, steam, and coal supplies to more than 100 sites in Europe, being also responsible for regulatory affairs. Heading several national and European working groups for natural gas, representing Cefic and/or IFIEC e.g., in the Madrid Forum or CEN.

Head of Unit - Energy Platform Task Force, DG ENER, European Commission
Monika Zsigri works for the European Commission on energy policy as a head of unit in the Energy Platform task force, focusing on the development of a joint purchasing mechanism and international outreach to support the EU’s diversification away from Russian fossil fuels. She has experience of more than a decade on different aspects of EU energy policy, including the reduction of methane emissions, LNG and storage, as well as energy security, energy infrastructure and regional cooperation. Previously, she has worked in the area of cohesion policy in support of the twin transition to a green and digital economy and coordinated the setting up and implementation of a new funding instrument on innovation.
Before joining the Commission, as management consultant she worked on different assignments in the energy and telecommunications sectors helping clients optimizing their business processes or developing successful business strategies.
