We talked to Kick Sterkman, Global HSEQ Director at Neptune Energy, to get a better picture on what can be done to strengthen European security of gas supply, while staying on track with the energy transition.
His message was clear. We need to scale up domestic production of natural, low carbon and renewable gases like hydrogen, while moving fast on CCS. Increasing the domestic extraction of natural gas at home can be done in a clean and safe way, and with fewer emissions.
